Framed Friends

This took about 1/2 hour to make...most of that was the cutting out of the Fox & Friends animals!

I love the 'Timeless Type' alphabet dies for the Big Shot. They look great.

With a bit of DS Paper, the stamped images, and a frame, and you have a lovely handcrafted gift for that special little (or big) someone!

Elegant Bling

I love quick cards that look good too. This quick card was made using the 'Elegant Lines' embossing folder run through the Big Shot, then a little sparkle was added with the 'Basic Rhinestones' (page 140 of the catalogue). The other card has the 'Basic Pearls' (page 140 of the catalogue). Pretty!

Thanks for stopping in!

Razzly For You

Hi again, it's been a little while...but not because I haven't been doing anything! :)

Here's card I made about 10 of all at once. I had so many people to give these to!

This uses Rich Razzleberry card, Whisper White run through the Big Shot with the Top Note Die, then the Polka Dot Embossing Folder.

The 'For You Flower' stamp is stamped in Rich Razzleberry twice, and punched out with the coordinating Fancy Flower & Circle punches.

The Old Olive leaf is made with the Little Leaves Die through the Big Shot as well.

Great 'all occasion' sentiment :)

More later,
Anna :)

Sweet Little Rattle

Happy start of the working week to you! In this neck of the woods, it's school holidays for all of our treasured little school-aged munchkins...not much so much crafting time for you crafty ones...unless you want little 'helpers' for your projects.

Now, here's something child-friendly! :)

This cute specimen of a card was given to us recently by a friend, who purchased it from another Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Isn't it great?! It's the 'Something Sweet' stamp set (p38 of the IB&C) paired with the Sweet Treat Cups (p122).

Note: The Sweet Treat Cups are available in HEART shape now too!! And fit the Full Heart Punch bee-you-tifly.

Back to the card...Baja Breeze & Chocolate Chip make a great pair, as seen above.

If I knew who the talented lady was who made this, I'd be able to give her credit, but she didn't have any signatures/labels on the card.

Come by again!

Owl Together Now!

What do the Scallop Circle Die, the Polka Dot Embossing folder & the Owl Punch all have in common?

All of the above! :)

Love love love the Owl Punch! So cute!
Apparently there are other uses for it than making owls! Hmmm...I will experiment & get back to you with some samples. :)

Til next time!
Thanks for surfing through this little nook!

For You Flower

This is one of the new single stamps in the brand spankin' new 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue.

Find it on p160...'For You Flower'. I have also used the Fancy Flower Punch & the 1 3/8" punches. Colours are Rich Razzleberry and Crumb Cake.

The Scallop Trim Border just finishes it off nicely, and the tiny little crumb cake heart is from the 2 Step Owl Punch, page 146 of the catalogue.

Come back later for more projects I made playing with some new 'toys' :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Launch Projects

Hi!
As promised, here are some pics of the three projects we made at the Girls Day Out/Catalogue Launch on the weekend (see previous post for more photos of the day).

In all the excitement & busy-ness of the day, I didn't get a chance to take pics of the projects! These are thanks to one of the girls attending and our newest team member. Thanks!!

Scrap Page : using punches & the Big Shot

3D Project: Handbag (pattern & instructions from 'Creations by AR')

Card: Embossed

As you may have spotted, we stuck to a pink & green colour scheme for the whole day, which looked really great.

Book out the first weekend in September next year for another full day of fun!!

'Girls Day Out' Catalogue Launch

Well, it's been and gone already! The much anticipated 'Girls Day Out' Catalogue Launch happened this past Saturday with about 60 ladies attending for a fun day crafting, eating & socialising. What a good recipe! :)

This was our 'Book to Look' stand. Each lady who booked a workshop from the day, picked a small envelope, and inside was a voucher for a Stampin' Up! goodie, to redeem at their booked workshop.

Here's the new Catalogue on display...all wrapped in cellophane. We stretched the girls out til just before lunch to give them their catalogues..we knew it would be a distraction while trying to get their projects done in the morning!! :)

Here's one of the many giveaways on the day. At the end of the day, 2 lucky ladies who placed an order, were randomly drawn to win these two hampers. Wouldn't have minded one myself! :)

Here are the cute little table centrepieces, which matched everyone's flower brooches they received when they walked in the door and collected their project bag.
Sharyn (fellow demo) made all of these....lots and lots and lots! A recipe for RSI! :)

Each lady had this little 'Survival Kit' awaiting them at their seating. Inside Pam had all sorts of things to help them 'survive' the new catalogue...wishlist, pen, highlighter, lollipop (for the energy levels!), bandaid (paper cuts from too much flicking! :) ), and coloured tabs to make a really user friendly catalogue.

Look at these 'looks too good to eat' cupcakes Pam baked and iced singlehandedly! I made the little butterfly toppers, thanks to some help from hubby (who would never admit it) who punched the 210 butterflies needed for this!! :)

It was a great day, and all the girls in my team put in a huge effort to make the day a success and a lot of fun. Thanks girls!! You are terrific!

Come back tomorrow to see more of the day in the way of displays and projects.
Thanks for popping by!
