Punch Art Blog Hop

Hello everyone!

It's time to interrupt the planned schedule of more team swap cards to take you on a PUNCH ART BLOG HOP.

I'm not actually in it, but will point you in the right direction if you enjoy a bit of blog-surfing.

All these 15 creative ladies are Stampin' Up! demonstrators, and all the 'hops' involve punch art, of which I did a very recent class.

So, sit back and enjoy the tour starting with the creative Clare at www.crafty-cow.com

Anna :)

p.s. the picture above is a bit of a taste from our recent punch class. Melon Mambo makes a great 'watermelon' colour, doesn't it...maybe that's why it's called 'Melon' mambo (it took me a while to catch up with that one!)

Pretty Proteas & a Case for Cards

Beautiful Proteas

Card CASE from the Catalogue - see page 138

I wanted to show you these beautiful proteas a lovely friend surprised me with not long ago. Aren't they stunning! (and 10 days later I am still getting joy looking at them, and they still look the same!)

I thought I better show a card too :)

For our last team meeting, I asked all the girls to do a 'CASE' card from the current catalogue. A 'CASE' means to 'Copy And Share'...so we just took a card idea from the catalogue and made them for our swaps.

Mine was from page 138, minus the little paper clips.

I'll post the other girls' CASE's next time for you to look at also.

If you get stuck, the Catalogue really is a great place to start for a springboard of inspiration for your creations.

Thanks for stopping in! :)
Til next time

More Quick Baby Cards

Well, as promised, here are some more cards made using the 'Nursery Suite' Quick Accents from Stampin' Up!

With the cards shown today and yesterday, and some more I haven't shown, I don't think I've even used up half the stickers in the Quick Accents!

The colours used are Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizazz, Regal Rose & So Saffron. Very pretty combos.

Thanks for checking back!

Quick Baby Tees

Check out the 'Nursery Suite' Quick Accents on p57 & p128 of the Catalogue. Great additions to a card...and quick! (maybe that's why they are called 'Quick'!! :) )

I've added a bit of extra detail with the little baby jumpsuits from the 'Baby Tees' Jumbo Roller.

The white card run through the Big Shot with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder just gives it a bit of extra something too.

I used Black Stazon on Watercolour paper for these, and coloured them with Markers to match the colours in the Nursery Suite Quick Accents.

Pop back tomorrow for some more cards with just the Quick Accents..no extras.

Til then!

Baby Carriages

I made up a bundle of these little baby pram cards for a recent expo, and for a few new recent additions to the world. :)

These are very easy...use a folded piece of A5 cardstock with the Scallop Circle Die. Position it just inside one of the edges so after it cuts, it'll still have a small folded section.

After cutting, run it through the Big Shot again with the front edge in the Polka Dot Embossing Folder. Trim.

Using circle punches & the tiny heart from the owl Punch, I've made the wheels.

The Trim was made using the Scallop Trim Border punch (p148 IB&C)

The colours used were retired Orchid Opulence, Pale Plum, Gable Green (using up my stash!) and current Tempting Turquoise.

Til next time!

Oooo Pretty Colours!

Every two months I run a Ribbon Share for my customers. These were the first share of the new catalogue. Aren't they pretty!

These are the 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbons from page 137. All 13 colours.

In the share you end up with 1 metre of each of the 13 colours which is heaps for a bit of extra style to your projects.

If you are not already on my mailing list and would like to be, just drop me a line.
Have a great weekend!

Owl Clips

Hmmm, I think I've found a new favourite punch...these owls are so cute!!
(Owl Punch #118074 $33.95)

I've attached them to some giant paperclips I found a while back. These 2 colours matched our new Blushing Bride colour and the blue is close enough to Baja Breeze.

Someone suggested attaching a magnet, and it could be a note holder for the fridge. Now that's an idea!

Thanks for stopping in!

Sweet Hello

This is a card made up from the new 'Simply Sent' range in the Stampin' Up! catalogue. This one is called 'Sweet Hello'. It comes with 8 pre-printed, embossed cards, 8 envelopes, and 24 pink sticky-backed ribbon flowers.

I've added an extra stamped sentiment in Soft Suede from the 'Curly Cute' stamp set.

Great for that 'I-need-a-card-but-have-no-time-to-make-one' moment!

Thanks for stopping by...

If the shoe fits...

Aren't these cute?! These are made using retired DS Papers. Check out page 56 of the Stampin' Up! Catalogue for a cute pair of shoes using the Nursery Suite Specialty DS Paper, and the Nursery Suite Quick Accents.

I made these for a stall I had at a Baby 'Do' recently.

If you like these, I can send you the template.

Scallop Boxes

Here's a great little box or muffin holder which has no cutting involved.
I've used the Scallop Envelope Die in the Big Shot 4 times, and just adhered the edges together...it has a self-made base!

The handle was just scrap left over which I punched along the edges with the pretty, new Scallop Trim Border punch.

These haven't been decorated yet, but perhaps they don't need to, or not much at all. They are pretty cute as is.

What do you think? What would you add to these?

Have a great day ahead...maybe some creative time is scheduled somewhere in there?? :)

Anna :)
